This show is amazing. The first incredible season of an even more incredible show. This show is a very accurate description of what its like to be a teenager the ups and downs of love and the obstacles you have to overcome such as alchol, drugs, and even failing grades This season is pretty much an introduction to the whole world of dawsons creek you meet dawson, an inspiring filmmaker whose parents are going through marital problems joey, a tomboy who's father is in prison and her mother died and she's living with her pregnant sister who has a black boyfriend pacey, (personally my favorite character) a underachiever of sorts whose a disappointment of his family and he also has an affair with his english teacher jen, a girl from new york whose trying to start over she lives with her "grams" who is very religious and trys to change jen's atheist views

This show is so good. The character development is very strong. People meet Dawson Leery, an introspective dreamer, who was once infatuated with Jen Lindley and eventually Joey Potter. Jen Lindley is a cynical, sarcastic teenager who was once in trouble in NY, but was forced to live with her grandmother, Grams. Joey Potter is an intelligent and introspective teenager, who dreams of leaving Capeside. She is also secretly infatuated with Dawson Leery. Pacey Witter is the sarcastic friend of Dawson's, who is not really smart, and is infatuated with his teacher, until it becomes public. Also, once you watch the first episode, you are hooked... like a crack addict. Very enthusiastic thumbs up!!
