When I rented it I thought cool I could see it with my sisters on movie night they love Dr. Suess! Boy was I wrong, it had language sexual content and so much more that I can't even name. After that movie my sisters were almost scared to READ the Dr. Suess book. This movie was a disgrace to Dr.Suess. Also I think Mike Myers was alot better at being an oger. I am happy Dr Seuss did not see what they did to his book. When you dont look at the book and see it to a movie there is a bit of enjoyment. My son actually loved the movie he wanted to watch it again and again but what does he know he is only 2 years. If you take the move dont expect it to be like the book. Where is the rhyming? Dr Seuss Rhymes I dont remember much of it if any in the movie. The only reason to get this is if your child knows how to work the dvd player because there is endless amounts of crap on the dvd to keep a child occupied for a long time.
