The movie struggles; at times losing steam. A road trip; 4 guys trail a skateboard exhibition tour. The lead (uncharismatic Vogel) dreams of joining the circuit. Too many tour stops aren't very interesting. Not much fun (or funny) for the friends who dropped everything to go along. One friend is dragged into paying for everything with his hard-earned college money (and he seems like a loser for doing it because he doesn't seem sympathetic to the cause at all). The director didn't finesse this. He's got toilet and gas jokes and a mostly boring cast. Highlights: real pro skater action, great rock music, and roadie chicks. You can guess how it ends. Overrated, I think.
