Great book by James Patterson but this movie....it was very sloppy and the acting was very poorly done, especially by the main character...otherwise, it was definitely worth watching if you are a Patterson fan. I liked to see the Women's Murder Club as real people. Cindy Thomas, played by Carley Pope, was definitely perfect for the role. She was young and brought some energy into the role. Not a bad film, I just enjoyed the book a whole lot more.

This movie was an excellent movie. I had just finished reading the book and found out there was a movie. Although the book by James Patterson was much better...this movie is an awesome pick too!

They can't quite measure up to the quality of the books. This was a pretty good made for tv movie. It would work as a series of made from the book series but it isn't a theater blockbuster type.

The acting and bizarre jello-mold camera effects were atrocious. I mean, being made-for-tv, my expectations weren't set very high...but it's always fun for me to see a book I've read interpreted into a movie...and for the most part, aside from the mediocre acting (my wife and I got a kick out of Lindsay Boxer's near-fainting spells), stuck pretty closely to the book...although for some strange reason they changed a few ancillary things that didn't change the storyline at all but cmopletely aggrevated you as a reader. Sometimes it's the little things that make a difference and you'll understand this when you watch it...if you're brave enough. :)
