Read More The final installment to the Matrix Trilogy disappointed some because the answers don't come easily. If you saw the 1st Matrix you know it's appeal is in more than action, but it's philosophy (Plato's Alagory of the Cave). The ideas in the 1st film although greatly entertaining; are much less involved than 2 & 3; would you really want it any other way? The ideas involved in the last 2 Matrix films are much more difficult to grasp (choice, destiny, causality). These are films that can & should be watched more than once to grasp the complex ideas they deal with. The last 2 films (filmed together) are essentially one story. The final Matrix doesn't disappoint and you'll be glad that the answers are not simply handed over. Of course the action and effects were amazing & groundbreaking for their time, but what really separates the Matrix is thought. If your not interested in a movie that makes to think then you'll still love the action, you just won't fully understand the plot. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I basically have to say, dont get this movie if you dont like the violence which makes the Matrix trilogy great. This movie really is basically all action, but it also ends the plot wonderfully and the Wachowski brothers did a GREAT job on it. Anyone who didnt like this movie is just a retard....doesnt get the whole point of the Matrix series cause i loved all 3 couldnt pick a favorite if i wanted, because thats like picking 3 different catigories-The first was more explination and Neo just finding out this stuff, the second was Neo finally putting his powers to work and awesome fighting scenes, and the third was about death, as heather put it basically- Neo finally fufills his destinly and beats Smith in an awesome face-to-face combat fight. One of the greatest trilogy's ever created on this earth --Eli Olson (13) Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

The end drifted out into nothing. I remember something like this in Vanilla Sky, which I also liked until the end.
It would have been nicer to let the movie live out in many series even if other actors could play it out just so they didn't try to squeeze every last graphic, punch and kiss into this piece. Also, no more stuffing little kids in a movie for the unecessary "cuteness" factor.
Watch it if you love what I mentioned in the second sentence and can appreciate 95% visual appeal and ~80% plot appeal. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

The first film was amazing and had a great plot and story behind it. This last one that is supposed to pull everything together, seems like it got somewhat lost in the special effects. I think they lost the story and plot a little bit after the first one. The first Matrix in this trilogy is by far the best. The second two are just, great action special effect movies. With all that said, this film is still good. It is action packed, entertaining and fun. The ending is not the best but, what are you going to do. 3.5 out of 5 stars. Read More I was a Matrix fan from the beginning, and I saw the first film 3 times while it was still in the movie theatre. If the Wachowski brothers dared to make a sequel, and then a trilogy to wrap things up in a neat bow, they really missed the mark. The second movie was ok, but I was really upset after this 3rd installment. I have the movie in my collection, but only to say I have the entire series...I guess it is very difficult to conclude what started out to be a masterpiece. There were too many questions still left unanswered at the end. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
