Jennifer Connelly's character was very hard for me to relate to. To feel sorry for someone who is that irresonsible was hard for me. On the other hand, Kingsley was stubborn, but legally, he was in the right, and had no obligation to sell the house back. Really shows how a couple of small decisions can spiral out of control, leading to a tragedy. It's nice to actually view a movie with such excellent writing and acting, and to think, I was engrossed in this movie without one singe chase scene! Take note Hollywood. Just when you think it can't get more depressing, it does, which is pretty darn hard to do when the characters seem to have already sunk so low. No silver linings in this cloud.
