Alittle disappointing but I liked Uma Thurman's acting in it, that was good. The movie was unrealistic and far fetched.

Quintin has outdone himself. This is, by far, one of his greatest works. Although the basic premise (portrayed in V.1) is little more than carnage driven by revenge, you must see V.2 in order to really understand why. As Terrantino himself mentions, V.1 asks the questions and V.2 provides the answers. There is lots of excessive blood and gore in V.1, but what do you expect when you lob off a head in one clean slash? If you're gonna do a revenge movie with a body count over 100 using swordplay, how can you not expect to see pools of blood? I highly recommend this movie to anyone with a strong stomach, especially women. But don't you dare even think about judging it until after you watch V.2 as well. It might be hard to believe, but there's a very good explaination for everything.

What more needs to be said. Major twists and turns paired with tons of unnecessary gore and lovely language to boot. A must see for Quentin Tarantino fans. I loved it.

Some reviewers found KB1 in bad taste. I felt the language could have been cleaner, but a running gag is that the only word bleeped out is the name of Uma Thurman's character. KB is Pulp Fiction (goofball killers) and From Dusk Till Dawn (absurd gore) with martial arts in a simple but funny revenge story. The episodic style is easy to follow, and the fight scenes are well choreographed. The photography is superb. Other than "the Bride" (UT), the major character in KB1 is O-Ren Ishii (Lucy Liu) - Bill himself hardly appears. O-Ren gets a lot of background (in anime), setting up the climactic duel. LL performs well, nearly stealing the movie. Vivica Fox is also good, but her part is short. UT herself acts with infectious enthusiasm. Watch the special features: they explain a lot. They cover the creation of the Bride, and Tarantino talks about the Japanese TV to which the movie is partly an homage, especially Hattori Hanzo (Sonny Chiba’s TV character, which he reprises in the movie).

Designed with a mix of spaghetti westerns, kung fu, dirty harry, old chinese/japanese Kung fu shows, and the matrix all rolled up into one film. Tarantino, as usual, bounces around the story rather than telling the story from beginning to end, but it wasn't that hard to follow. I am looking forward to kill bill v2 tonight. It was entertaining and worth the watch...

In true Tarantino fashion this movie has the "B" movie feel with lots of violence and comedy all rolled up in one. The blood literally squirts out of appendages in large quantities. The exaggerated sword sound effects take you back to the old kung fu movies. I loved it! If you like Tarantino movies this one is a must.
