I was suprised to find this movie quite entertaining. I have always been a Crispin Glover fan and found this role to fit him like a glove. Keep an eye out for the scene with the housecat...the choice of music combined with the scene, actually made me laugh out loud...and I think it's only supposed to be funny in a sick, dark sort of way.

I got to see this movie by accident in my movie rental-not the movie I intended to rent. I am glad that I got to see this movie. I wasn't going to see it, because I thought the movie trailers on tv looked a bit gruesome. (And I believe you can't really improve on a classic.) Crispin Glover as "Willard" was awesome in his character. The movie was thoughtfully and beautifully done. The story is a disturbing one. I've had pet rats, and know how endearing, and very cool, they can be. This movie is on my list to buy. Warning: Some disturbing violent scenes & imagery, some strong language. Questionable for children.
