Read MoreAs someone who finds the whole concept of memory fascinating and how one does or doesn't remember things, I was intrigued by this story's premise. This movie is about so much more though. It is about love and love lost and having the opportunity to erase people, places, and things from your memory. The greater connection with me was how do we become the people we are? And if certain memories were erased, like in this movie a broken relationship(both the good and bad), how would that effect our future? This is a truly fascinating and moving movie and one that I'll never forget. In fact, I'm writing this review about a year after I saw it, wanting to see it again. Read MoreIt was really weird and it's one that has to be watched twice or more to catch the nuisances. This is just a love story, remember that when you watch it. Also think about The Notebook. This shows how the love of two people can transcend memory. Get through the first half and youll enjoy the entire movie. Dont turn it off after twenty minutes and really think about it. My second attempt wasn't much better. It wouldn't be fair for me to judge the movie for that reason. But it did not grab me and it was very strange and out of the ordinary. I played this in my DVD Player a Denon 2910 and it certainly did nothing to improve upon the picture.
Jim Carrey should of skipped this role!
