This beautifully shot movie reminded me of when some SNL skits are turned into movies - there's just not enough substance to carry an entire movie. There's some wickedly funny stuff for the 1st third of the movie - spoofs of brother/sister relationships, men's friendships, and some cinematography that apes the best of Zhang Yimou, but the movie runs out of steam halfway through. Fun cast, some zesty dialogue, and a mistaken identity comedy that should have had a rewrite or two.
