Ok this movie is a lot of fun. And that is the only way you can approach it. Being from an Eastern European family I can totally understand the horrible set up situations my parents have put me in to try to get me married. This movie just made me laugh so much. But unless you are in a good mood, dont watch. Later I rented it for my parents after a bad day I had at work. We were all cranky and we watched it together and some how it was just endlessly boring. So no great cinematic movie here like Deepa is capable of but lots of fun....

Could be avoided. This movie has absolutely nothing to do anything with either bollywood or hollywood. The movie has a weak storyline with nothing in it to make it watchable. Passable.

It was what I expected considering the title. Similar to Bollywood movie, but less dancing, more story. Entertaining.

Although it's supposed to be a comedy, I fail to see the humor in Bollywood/Hollywood. Is it funny that the main character's white fiance is called a whore just because she's white, but in the end his Indian girlfriend is accepted even though she may have ACTUALLY been a whore? Also, even though the DVD offers English subtitles, the songs aren't translated, making the musical numbers useless distractions if you don't speak Hindi.

Great Bollywood fun without subtitles! Color, dancing, beautiful songs, a love story, a geek triumphs, transgendered dancers, in a smart comedy.................what's not to love?

Didn't like this movie at all. Was a new version of Pretty Woman which of course is a much better film. This movie dragged on and on and on. I got bored with it.

I tried to go into this movie with an open mind, but I could not get into the flow. There seemed to me, more distractions that I could handle. for example the song titles runing on the screne. The parts that were more then likely to be funniy fell short. I would not discourage you from watching, just know what you're getting into.
