Realistic characters (rather than the usual interchangeable ... Read More So rare to find a really good horror movie--one that's not dumbed down to the level of a slow fifteen year old. This one's the real deal. Realistic characters (rather than the usual interchangeable ones), great photography, terrific score, creepy atmosphere. Oh yeah, and it's really scary! Yes, there are jump scenes, but mostly the director is smart enough to know that the zombies are best when only glimpsed. Gore, language, really good. Started off kinda slow, but soon picked up. The special features were nice. Deleted scenes and a few alt. endings. And some making of the film. Read More As long as you can handle the purposely fast-paced filming of this movie, it's a great sci-fi/horror flick. The impact of the devastation is driven home quickly which leaves most of the rest of the movie for you to wallow in this great new take on the old "zombies are after me!" genre. Read More A believable unbelievable story line much like the newly remade dawn of the dead with excellent camera movement. For example the one infected solider running through the hung bed sheets, very cool. Also, the movie felt realistic all the way to end part where they reach the military place. The main reason why I like this movie so much than most zombie movies is that these infected people are a lot more surreal and scarier. Really good watch and one of my favorites. Read More This movie is more of a detailed movie of "The Omega Man" or "I am legend" It is done in London, so it could easily connect to those movies with a few differences. I could of did without seeing the full frontal nudity of the guy in the beginning and seeing his bare butt again later was totally not necessary. That aside this is a good movie. They are slow, which is bad outside of anything that offers no intellectual challenge to make up for the pace. There's no mystery or suspense or anything else to make this film worthwhile. Unfortunately, this seems to be the trend for most of the so-called Horror genre movies of our time. It was predictable and sloppy.---- Save yourself the aggravation.
