It was a nice story and some of the actors did a good job but the overall effect was bad. The women who played the sisters were terrible at the craft of acting, and essentially ruined the movie. Read More I agree with all the other reviewers except the person who said it was cute. The script was terribly uneven, the characters elicited about as many warm and fuzzy feelings as stick people, and the language, alcohol, crying, drugs, sex was just seedy and pathetic. Overacting,roller coaster emotions by cardboard characters. I suspect they sought an "R" rating just to hype a box office bomb.Predictably, at the very end it all gets sorted out. If this is what the producers/directors saved for the final cut,I can't imagine how terrible the stuff was that ended up on the cutting room floor. Hopefully they gave it a proper cremation and burial. I can't beieve how this movie even got into a DVD format ,I doubt it played in a movie house. Perhaps it was a lame attempt to remake the "Big Fat Greek Wedding" with an Italian twist. If so it missed big time. I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for this sorry flick. The Westerly,RI coastal scenes were

Movie involves tackless actions like trying to sleep with sisters boyfriend, drugs, sex, alchol, lots of crying, fighting with father over bad decisions made, and just plain regrets.
