Reign: The Conqueror 

Most people I've come across hate this series, but I am one of the few that loved it. One thing people don't like is the animation, whereas I for one thought the animation style was great. As you may know, there's many mythological stories surrounding Alexander the Great and I'd have to say that this one is a great story line. It's certainly not scientifically grounded, but I loved the story. I'll be buying the entire series before too long. One more thing people can't stand is the clothes the characters wear, I didn't have a problem with it. I'm mature enough to see past it. I greatly recommend this far underrated series to anyone with the time to watch it.

Okay, Reign was a first released in Japan in 1999, 'Alexander Senki'. There are 4 volumes to the series. Pictured above is 'Reign the conqueror: Obsession Volume 2'. I'm a fan of Reign, but don't you think if Blockbuster was going to give us a taste of an obscure anime, they would at least start with the first volume?
