I am a sucker for end of the world movies. I liked the characters in this film and its creativity. Sure the movie is very unbelieveable but it is still a lot of fun to watch. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

The plot is unrealistic, the special effects less than stellar, it's too long, and Hilary Swank sure learned a lot about acting between here and Million Dollar Baby (now that's a movie). Read MoreI give this movie 2 1/2 stars for the pigeon scene alone. I haven't had a laugh that good in a while. You're not going to believe it. And why is he blowing that trumpet at a rock? What lesson is being learned? And the end is a howler too...see if you can figure out what they do when they end up in the dilemma at the very end. The only redeeming thing about this movie was the scene in DC with Hillary Swank in a skirt and heels. The lady has nice legs. But even they aren't worth the trouble to rent this stinker. AVOID.
