Excellent movie! Beautiful imagery; great acting by Salma Hayek helps the viewer feel Frida's pain and frustration, her wild, intense nature and her determination to overcome, to live life to the fullest, and to be recognized as a great artist. The rest of the cast was well chosen and bring their characters to life as well.

This was an artistic and interesting movie about the sad life of an artist. I really enjoyed the movie but there were raunchy scenes that could have been implied and not actually shown.
