Read MoreWhen I watched Manhunter for the first time I was greatly disappointed since a good plot was wasted. Red Dragon finally gives the story what it deserves, capable actors. Ralph Fiennes plays the part of the killer chillingly, while Norton shows his ability to portray a detective. Anthony Hopkins' role is lower-key, but fits in well with the storyline. Again, the characters both well written and well-played. The story was good, and had a decent pace and tone. Read MoreI have never seen so much confusion as which movie came first, Silence of the Lambs or Red Dragon. The answer is neither film was first. The fact is that The Manhunter was first and The Red Dragon was a remake of the Manhunter which was the third production of the Hanibal Lector characters. Silence of the Lambs was the sequel to the Manhunter with William Peterson stared and Michael Mann directed, of Miami Vice fame. Hopefully having that finally put into order I will review the film. I supposed if you have lived under a rock for the past several years you may not have heard of the incredible talents of Edward Norton. You probably missed Primal Fear, American History X, Death to Smoochy The Italian Job, Rounders and on and on. This is a superb action thriller with a birds eye view of the FBI Serial Task Force and how they operate. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
