I was very skeptic about watching this movie at first, considering the content and being a foreign movie. I was pleasently surprised, lack a of a better word, shocked the way the movie was telling the story. The locations and the acting was magnificent. It seems I will be watching more Brazilian movies and brush up my Portuguese... Good work.

Not sure what to make of this film. Definitely very gritty and realistic, acted and filmed very well. Strong GAY content! If you've been yearning to see a film about a gay black man in the Rio ghetto in the 70's, your ship has come in. Not quite to our taste.
