Demonlover (2002) Reviews

This is not family entertainment or for those who prefer their stories delivered in a more straightforward way. The subject matter is pretty rough edged, however, and will turn many people off. It is, however, technically well done (I particularly enjoyed the hand held camera work during a chase scene – it was not gimmicky but conveyed the experience very well), and the acting is good. This is not a scary movie, nobody makes love with a demon from below, but I can understand why women would have a hard time watching this. It is not a “feel good” movie or a good first date experience If you try this out, stick with it to the very end, as the last few minutes could either sum it all up nicely for you and give you something to think about, or not.

This was one of the worst movies I've seen. I agree w/ my fellow critics. Bad movie, No Plot(it didn't even make sense)! Very slow, very bad acting and change of languages didn't help either. Monologue was deceiving also, there was no nudity or sex as described :(

I got the Japanese version, which lead to many WTF moments, but it was still OK. The English version would get a better review. If you like corporate intrigue, with the business of porn, you might like this. I can't highly recommend it, but Connie and Chloe deliver good performances.
