Those who worried that the Disney studio would collapse without the presence of the late Uncle Walt were put at ease when the profits starting rolling in for The Love Bug. The "star" is Herbie, a lovable little Volkswagen with a personality all its own. Abused by a bad guy race-car driver (David Tomlinson), Herbie is rescued by a good guy racer (Dean Jones). Out of gratitude, Herbie enables the luckless good guy to win one race after another. The real fun begins when the ruthless hot-rodder connives to get Herbie back through fair means or foul. We watched the recent on with Lynsey Lohan and I decided to go back and watch this one also. There were a few scenes I had to explain to my kids, like lover's lane and the irish coffee in the gas tank, but other than that, they loved it.

Why in the world would I want to watch this and not the actual movie??? My children were very upset...I thought I received the incorrect DVD...therefore I will be receiving Disc 2 AGAIN in a few days...to only have to send it back to you. Take this off the queue please!

I only recieved the bonus disc,there was no actual movie included.It doesn't appear that Blockbuster has a option to get this movie by itself.

I totally agree! After the new Herbie I wanted to show my daughter what the old movies were like, but this is not a movie at all! And nothing in the description says that! I don't care about the bonus features, I want to see the movie!
