Read More Monica Potter goes all out in representing all the dorky girls in this movie. It has a great cast of familar faces such as Gael Garcia Bernal from Motorcycle Diaries, John Hannah from Sliding Doors, and of course David Boreno of Angel. It's cute and light yet romantic..and you'll find someone she meets just like someone you've met. What to do? Who to choose? Who would you choose??? Enjoy! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Read More If you like romantic chick flicks in general & are a bit quirky/eccentric yourself, then youâll like I'm With Lucy. Itâs a light look at the dating process, but resonates deeper if youâre slightly âregular" yourself. Lucy (Monica Potter) careens from a devastating breakup through a series of blind dates (several of which turn into relationships) culminating in her wedding to Mr. Right. Not revealing Mr. Rightâs identity until the last 1/2 hour of the movie kept the suspense going. If you watch a second time you can see how her mistakes from other dates affect how she behaves in the next date... it was a little confusing that they skipped around a bit, but in the end I liked that choice, because the memories flowed kind of stream of consciousness out of what she was thinking about at the time. Part of the reason that I liked this movie so much is that I totally approve of her choice... It is a deeper look at what makes relationships right, and I liked that. Read More I'm a long-time Monica Potter fan, and she doesn't disappoint in her role as a somewhat confused, but likable, single girl. I've seen this movie 3 times - and noticed different things each time. The movie is realistic, humorous, and non-offensive. Take it for what it's worth - it's not a deep, life-changing movie, but it's light-hearted and fun. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More The movie keeps on jumping back and forth between story plots that follow Lucy's dates but it is done in such a way that you don't really know if they are happening on the same year, in the future, in the past, etc. So it is VERY confusing; the director obviously tried at some sort of originality by using this technique but it just failed miserably. Then there are all the loose ends. Like for example: it is never shown what happens with Gael Garcia's character. How did that relationship end up? There is absolutely NO closure. When I was watching the movie I wasn't thinking "has she made the right choice?" (as this site's review erroneously suggests). I was thinking, "what's wrong with this girl?-she's obviously disturbed.-I really hope they all dump her." Except of course, when it gets to the end. It has a very nice ending and although I don't generally like Hollywood endings, I have to at least give the director that. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More Lucy, the main character, is stupid, obnoxious, and extremely rude. The scenarios surrounding each date were totally ridiculous, and the dialogue was painfully bad. No wonder I'm still single, if hitting and yelling at your date on the first date, as well as talking down to them and abandoning them at your parents' house within a few hours of meeting them is the way to win a man's heart.
