In a comedy as flat as the cardboard cut-outs of movie stars that appear in one scene, Steve Martin plays Larry Hubbard, a wild and lonely guy who has been dumped by his girlfriend. Since misery loves company, he takes up with Warren, a fellow Lonely Guy (Charles Grodin), and eventually both Warren and Larry find some surprising companions, especially after Larry writes a best-selling Lonely Guy Guide. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

Steve Martin is a "Wild and Crazy Guy" in this pretty funny show, the story behind it is pretty much reality for some of us. LOL!

Steve Martin is a talented comic. I like most everything he does. This particular movie however wasn't very good. There were some laughs. The supporting cast seemed bland while the story's plot dragged. I was almost glad when it finally ended.

Steve Martin is a wonderful actor who never misses at making me laugh. This movie is tender, slow paced and thoroughly enjoyable. This movie was made when he was a bit younger and calmer. Great contrast to his quicker style -- he and Grodin make a good twosome. Wonder who "did" Grodin's hair????

Steve Martin is insane in this movie, but Charles Grodin is over the top with his negative attitude. I love it. Their best work IMHO.
