It's not award winning acting but I thoroughly enjoy the Rock's (Dwayne Johnson) funny quippy acting style. He's built for action movies and I think he did a good job in this movie. I enjoyed the plot, the special effects were great. Definitely a movie I had to buy.

I expected the movie to be a little different. After watching "The Mummy" series with enjoyment through the cheesy comedy mixed with the fast paced action, the Scorpion King only takes the latter half of those successful principles. It has some fairly bad acting mixed with a story that doesn't tie into the Mummy series at all. There were some fun scenes but I would only give this movie a so-so rating.

This movie is good for teenagers, but for adults it is very boreing, and for the children I would'nt exactly say that it is apropriate...If you are looking for a good family movie try (my favorite) 'A Walk To Remember', it starts out rough but after the first five minutes it just keeps getting better (I actually cryed)...If you are looking for a horror movie than try 'The Ring', it is not for children under 10 and it may just scare the crap out of you but it is actually a very good movie...If you are looking for a GREAT christian movie than try ( my all time favorite) 'The Pashion of the Christ', I must warn you though this movie is not a movie you want to eat and watch at the same time...If you are looking for a good childs movie than try 'Buzz lightyear' or any 'Barbie' movie...I hope that I have helped, and good luck shoping for movies.

We have all seen this movie many times before with Arnold as the lead role. This movie lacks the plot and special effects of Arnold's movies. This movie is just plain boring. You'll find yourself reading a book or doing other activities while you watch this movie. If you need a distraction while doing something else this is a good fit, if your looking for a movie, than pass.
