I really liked the story. Though if you are a big religious nut, then you will probably hate this movie and think it is blasphemy. I say get over it and just realize it is a movie. It is a good look at the side of evil and the constant war between heaven and hell. They did a great job with this film and I definitely recommend watching it. Read More Keanu Reeves plays a private investigator who believes in things that go bump in the night. Rachel Weisz who plays a cop, who seeks John Constantine counsel after her twin sister dies in what first appears to be a suicide. I would say that this movie is a thriller/supernatural it has great action nice plot and moves along very well, very nice special effects. The story is worse. The story could be described as a hacky hybrid of the Exorcist, Dogma and the Matrix. I liked those movies, but something about this movie didn't sit right with me. The story was very losely strung together. It's all just filler from one special effects sequence to the next. One good thing I can say is that the special effects were good, nothing groundbreaking. The plot was weak and the storyline boring. Keanu was at his absolute worst. I am not passion about Keanu as in actor cause of his non-expressive facial expressions and monotone voice, but he at least was at his best in Matrix, not the case for this movie.
