Read More A lot of people don't like this movie and I can understand why but for me it was a lot of fun. In the movie Julia Roberts plays an actress who is making a movie called "Rendezvous" and in that movie she's a reporter. Blair Underwood is her co-star and in "Rendezvous" he's playing an actor. It doesn't help that they don't explain this until about half way through the movie. A lot of this was shot digitally, giving it a real grainy look and I think this turns a lot of people off as well. At the seventeen minute mark I pressed eject. If I didn't have to return this movie to BlockBuster I would destroy it; removing it from circulation so no one else would have to be subjected to this type of torture. $2 million budget? This movie made little sense and seemed to waste the talents of the cast. Maybe it's just too artsy for me, but I prefer a film with a defineable plot and clear-cut scenes.
