Has excellent acting (Brad and Robert do a great job). Really breaks down spying and shows no matter how hard you try, you can't fight love. Does have a love story, but they do it in a very good way so it doesn't get boring. Definitley a five star movie and a must rent Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Absolutely. I love this movie. The timing and little twists mixed with Henry Gregson-Williams (unusual-for-him) soundtrack adds up to a great movie, whether you're into spy movies or not. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I must admit, Tony Scott is one of the greatest action directors the film world has to offer. He not only has the ability to push his actors, but also create these amazing visuals that transport us deep into the setting of the film. He has mastered the cinematography of nearly every picture he has done, giving us these beautiful shots of the world that we may never see in our lifetime. The lack of coherence, consistency, and structure take this Tony Scott film and transform it into just your average Hollywood spy film. It had the potential to reach new levels, and there were several scenes that I loved, but I just couldnt believe the story. Overall, I thought this was an average film. I dont think it deserves more than one viewing, but the cinematography alone was powerful enough to watch once. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More Tony Scott does a great job of directing Robert Redford in this cat and mouse film. Billed as a thriller, it is more about the language of the script that makes this movie work so well. Brad Pitt finds himself in a world of trouble, and if Redford doesnt play his cards to perfection, Pitt wont live the day out. Brad Pitt has a secondary role in this film, and is used as the catalyst that drives this heady cinematic gem. The movie moves along at a decent pace, This film has some holes, but writers Beckner and Arata plugs them quickly, and in the end you have a complete film that defiantly holds water. I dont think this is going to be every ones cup of tea, but if clever dialogue with a sprinkling of solid action is what you are looking for, then pull up to the table and drink this one up Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
