Read MoreKudos for Pixar, who know how to make a family film that entertains children of all ages (including children-at-heart) without resorting to mature themes such as sex and violence. Charming story, wonderful music, great animation. Voice acting is on the mark. I love how monster and top scarer J.P. Sullivan (Sully) is kind, caring and protective of Boo, a little girl who accidentally slips into Monstropolis through a closet door. His initial response? "I'm not going to scare you. I'm OFF DUTY!" More than that, he's a father figure to Boo, and Boo soon learns not to be afraid of monsters. Great family film for those who have children of young age who fear the monster in the closet, or the monster under the bed. No better film on children and monsters has ever been made. Enjoy! My 4 year old will watch it over and over again without ever taking it out of the dvd player. The plot is great, and come on when you were little I'm sure you believed like most kids that there was a monster in your closet or under your bed. This way when your kids hear the wind outside at night they won't freak out they will laugh instead. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
