This film is about a character who feels sorry for herself. She is a bad charicature of a bad charicature of the typical Gen-X American. I wanted to enjoy this movie, being a Christina Ricci fan, but the film fails when it stoops to the level of the main character and wants the audience to feel sorry for her to.

I usually really enjoy Christina Ricci fims but this one pretty much was a waste of time. It has a great cast and is based on an excellent book but this film was just slow moving and boring. I'll just chalk this up to wasted time. If I were you, I'd look elsewhere for something to rent!

This is a good example of why the movie industry is dying and dying quickly. This movie is truly forgetable. It is about a self-absorbed young woman who sinks into drugs, etc. What a waste!
