This movie did little for me. It almost had a movie of the week or Lifetime movie feel. What will Ginny do to alienate her friends and family next? How can she be passing any classes when it seems like she never goes to class or studies? The lamest part was the end. After two hours of misery, the film maker hands you a real no end ending. If you like watching depressing losers, go watch an episode of Maude - at least it has a funny moment occasionally. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Elizabeth Wurtzel's book Prozac Nation was a moving tale about depression. I had doubts that it would transfer well into a movie, but when I saw that Ricci would be playing Wurtzel I thought it might have a chance. In my opinion, the acting in this film was excellent. Ricci does a great job as a tortured Wurtzel, and the supporting cast was top notch. But, as suspected, the book just doen't tranfer well into a movie. If you are a big Wurtzel fan (and I am) you might enjoy the movie anyways.WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
