I liked the various stories and it kept me watching until the end to find out what happens. Not too wonderful but kept my attention.

Not much to like about this one. You don't really know what's happening for the first part of it and don't like what's happening in the second part. A few unsettling scenes that I could easily do without. If I want to be depressed, I'll watch the news.

The movie starts out with a lot of jumping around from what appears to be random, disconnected scenes, but the confusion and the great acting grab you and won't let go. We stayed with this to see what was going on and we were glad that we did. At it's conclusion, 'everything' is tied together and all questions answered. The next day we watched the movie over again to better understand the subtle clues that we originally had not grasped. If you have any empathy for the problems and pains suffered of others, you will have a deep appreciation for this story. Stay with it; it's a good (visual) book.

This entire film is a mess. Horrible, disjointed story. Avoid at all costs.

Uneven tale that confuses. It attempts to convey a mother's desperation to hold onto the memory and meager existence of a son devastated by a car accident at the expense of all else. With reaching the conclusion that she has failed at holding onto him at the expense of losing touch with her life and her daughter, she suffocates her son in a brutal scene. Very little here of entertainment value and there is nothing that you take away from this movie that will stay with you. Not recommended.

The acting in this movie is great. I was really enjoying it during the first half. The problem with the film is that the writer didn't really have a story to tell or a point to make. The way things tie up in the end is dissatisfying and not meaningful, artful, or clever. It's still worth watching, though. Your attention won't start to wander until the film is nearly over. Until then it's a pretty interesting ride.
