It definitely can not just be said as terrible. There were some minor flaws, but of the movies today, when isn't there. The typical thought of what male supermodels (and female) are like are captured perfectly, and Owen Wilson/ Ben Stiller did some great acting for these parts. It's pretty ridiculous and very zany, but it's pretty funny too. Zoolander can be crude at times, but it's a lot cleaner than most blockbuster comedies that are released these days. And, surprisingly, Zoolander actually has some relevant things to say about our culture's obsession with glamour. A few scenes aside, Zoolander is a lot of fun (especially when mimicking 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Godfather: Part II) and is definitely worth a watch. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? But with Zoolander, I think the problem is that we are boombarded with satire. Every line from every character is spoofing the fashion industry to the point were I was in overkill mode not even 15 minutes into the movie. I could not finish wathcing it. I turned it off after 30 minutes. The movie definetly has a good foundation because of Ben Stiller's talent, but it lacks something that would have separated it from being nothing more then a good 10-minute skit on Saturday Night Live.
