I think that this is a good film and done very tastfully compaired to today's standards. When this movie came out in 1972 it was considered vulgar. The rape scene shows nothing and the rest of the movie is just them tormenting the girls in different ways. "I spit on your grave" and "The virgin spring" are much worse than this one is!
I don't know why all these idiots write bad reviews and claim that were sick because we like a movie. Read the synopsis and if it's not your cup of tea then MOVE ON to another movie! When I saw it and man was I bored out of my mind. I watched the directors cut and that wasnt that gory. Maybe one scene was and that was it. It turned out to be a total waste of my time. Horrible acting, the film quality (both visual and audio) was terrible, the dialog was worthless, there were holes in the story big enough to drive a bus through, and it doesn't stand the test of time (very, very dated). I kept hoping for it to improve, and that's the only reason I stuck it out until the end; unfortunately, it not only didn't improve, it got worse and worse. Interesting concept, utterly unfortunate "execution" (excuse the pun, but your time would be better spent polishing your silverware or cleaning the toilet). Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
