Read More While some may find the extremely comfortable sexual atmosphere within the film a bit much, the story is so much more important than any nudity. In between sexual scenes is dry humorous dialogue and exposition that make one think about life, about the loss of childhood/teenage innocence, about growing up, about sexuality (and the difference between lust and intimacy), and truth (although, to quote the film, truth is nice but unattainable). The character development and interaction as well as nitty gritty type filming make this a great watch and, for me, read (since I can only understand rudimentary Spanish). If you liked this movie, you may also want to watch Motorcycle Diaries which happens to also star one of the actors in this film. I also recommend viewing the special features. There is a short film and making of featurette that are funny in a dry sort of way. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I enjoyed this movie I don't think that it translates as good on the sub titles.I got to see the kids are all the same here or there. Its about human emotions and what we hide sometimes is not always a good thing when we lie and the truth comes out it can break friendship here or there weather your a rich kid or just the friend of, the emotions that a woman goes through is not alway because or a mans infidelity but her own skeletons. In the end you find that your best friend are some time your worst enemies and that a woman in pain does not mean she misses her past or present but scared of the future. The very stunning Maribel made this film visually pleasing and the storyline was superb. At times during the movie I felt like my memories and past emotions had been captured on film. I wouldn't watch this film with the children or with pruidish persons though. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Once you get beyond those themes, you get to more sobering matters that leave you feeling pretty spent by the end.
An interesting flick, but not one that I'd bother to watch again. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
