Hostage High (1997) Reviews

this movie is based on a kid that was 20 in Ca in 1992 that went to his old school and shot his teacher that failed him in his civics class.. he killed 4 people and wounded 10 and is now sitting on death row.. so get ur story straight before you start writing reviews ok? it was an ok movie. it drew me in to where i kept wanting to watch it. but its one of those made for tv movies with not a whole lot of great acting. and with all the shootings that happened after this movie i think it just gives people the idea to go and kill people at school. i mean i could see the gunman and how he thought he was really going to get off with a light sentence.. but i mean come on... did that really happen?? i dont know. but how the teacher died humming really happened and he had 70 hostages in the school. so it was somewhat exactly how it happened.. and somewhat not. i feel sorry for the families and victims that this movie was actually made and was made after them! i think that was totally wrong.

Great acting - Any movie that makes me cry and has me actually feeling bad for the shooter is well worth seeing. Just horrible that these things actually happen, but definitely a powerful movie - I would recommend to everyone.
