Well, this was a disappointment. This was supposed to be the the Danny Kaye classic, but instead I get this poor lunkhead. At the time of this review, it STILL has the description of the DK movie, but the picture is now of the video I actually got. Bummer...

Avoid this one at all costs. It's a Blockbuster error and so far it has still not been corrected. Like Richard C. who wrote the first review, I also ordered "The Kid from Brooklyn" thinking I would receive the 1946 Danny Kaye musical as described in the synopsis. What I received was "The Best of the Kid from Brooklyn" . What it is is an obnoxious, foul mouthed guy sitting in front of the camera and spouting off nonsense for an hour like something you would see on YouTube and quickly get bored with. It's a grainy, amatuerish piece of garbage and I notified Blockbuster at least twice about the problem then wrote a review thinking that might catch the attention of someone at Blockbuster who might be in a position to fix the problem. I hope this works as I am still looking forward to seeing the Danny Kaye movie.
