The actors' lines are nothing new and are delivered likewise. The only spin this film gives is delivering the scenes w/ a kind of juvenile humor. Read More Such a broad range of reviews!?! I agree it's not DeNiro's best work, but it's actually not his worst bit of acting either, and it's a long way from the worst movie ever made. I agree that you do wonder sometimes how they haven't caught the bad guys already, they don't seem that smart or resourceful. I was surprised that they didn't report the brief nudity when the hooker is killed, it certainly qualified. They got a little corny at the end with Kelsey Grammer, you wanted to laugh, but you knew they weren't trying to be humerous, and that made it a little silly. Remember, 3 stars is "Just OK"..... A very well-acted satire of today's media and human fascination with reality shows and nightly news murders. DeNiro and Burns clearly have chemistry together.

A very well-acted satire of today's media and human fascination with reality shows and nightly news murders. DeNiro and Burns clearly have chemistry together.
Most likely overshadowed by the events following its release, this movie can easily be released today and do very well in theaters as timely and a reality check of where we are headed as a society. It makes one hope they never get their 15 minutes of fame. One twist after another leaves you glued to the story despite the violence, almost a comment in itself how we have become anesthetized.
