Probably every male star that existed in that time period. Takes awhile for the script to grab hold but it should hold your interest.

How can a movie with William Holden, Michael Caine, and Rex Harrison possibly suck? Watch Ashanti to find out. If you take away the surprising violence and some NICE Beverly Johnson nudity, you'd think this was a terrible made-for-tv movie. Sure, the DVD authoring is freaking atrocious, but the cinematography in this movie is deplorable from start to finish. Banal shots of desert sands, bad closeups of aging former lead actors, racist stereotypes, and Peter Ustinov's fat jiggling arse - terrible. Even Omar Sharif can't save this pitiful piece of garbage. It totally needed more William Holden - but -spoiler- Caine gets him killed like a beyotch!

A good one to watch with a glass of wine in a winter evening cuddled up to the loved one. 5 Stars for Peter Ustinov! He should have gotten Oscar for his role here. Superb acting! All these little details he adds, makes his character so alive, you are forgetting he is just an actor.
