This was typical Danny K. If you're looking for an old movie that will make you laugh, this will do it. I love Danny K and you get to see alot of him in this movie. The script isn't the best. But it's funny and typical of the period.

This is Danny Kaye by the numbers, a twitching, kvetching mess in a script that had to have lots of sections that said "Do Danny Kaye schtick here." Stick with the Court Jester, a much funnier, much sweeter movie. Avoid this one. Not so bad it's good. Just plain bad.
