But I for one ... Read MoreWell, I saw all the other reviews and it seems parents are the people who have a problem with this movie. It must another one of those "Pokemon are named after demons" thing... I dunno. But I for one LOVE this movie. The animation is sketchy and quick but for some reason it makes it look all the better. The story can be rather bland since it is for kids, but if you've followed the story from the beginning, this is a remarkable movie. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

The issue w/ these reviews [IMO] is that there all by ADULTS NOT KIDS AND THIS IS JAPANESE THE JAPANESE CAN BE STRANGE AND ADULTS DON'T LIKE STRANGE AND THAT IS THE END OF THE STORY. Read MoreThis movie is actually the combination of three shorter animated features which were originally shown separately in Japan. The three otheriwse unconnected stories are strung together by added dialogue that does little to sew together the uneven plots. The third act is actually quite different from its original form as whole scenes are cut out or altered to try to make it fit into the plotlines of the other two segments. On its own this movie isn't really all that bad and has better animation quality than the television series on whic his it based. Fine for kids and adament fans of the show who cannot get a hold of the orignal versions. The low point of the movie in my opinion is the inclusion of pop songs which really have nothing to do with the theme of the movie. An all instrumental soundtrack would have been much better. But, it is mildly violent too, and you have to watch the movie a few times before you actully "get" what's happening. The main characters are Taichi "Tai" Kamiya, Yamato "Matt" Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi, Mimi Tachikawa, Joe Kido, and Takeru "T.K." Takaishi. It is also divided into three parts. The first part is about how Taichi and Hikari hatch a "Digi-egg" and it "Digivolves" intobiggeer and bigger forms untill it turns into and gets in a fight with another Digimon Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
