Take a myth, mix it with some actors, add some peppy country music and what do you have? One heck of a movie! Comedy blened with action, O Brother is one of those movies you're not going to forget soon. In fact, you'll come back and watch it as many times as you can. Years later, peole will be quoting this movie and you can laugh along with them.

If you didn't like this movie, you need to watch it again. It takes some getting used to the dialect to understand even what they are saying. I

I love this movie. It is funny, interesting, and has wonderful music. I bought the soundtrack as well. I love that it was inspired on the Odyssey.

This is a strange and kooky movie but grew on me over time because some family members got into it. I bought the soundtrack and really like that (it has blue grass, gospel, banjos, and 1930s sort of music). Definitely a movie that could be called "off the beaten path" as it doesn't seem to have much logic to it: prisoners escape to go after a "treasure" and get diverted into different side stories.

Ok, I have to admit, I generally love anything that George Clooney is in. But I just thought this movie was so fun, and the music was great! I would highly recommend this movie.
