One of the most heartwrenching, but wonderful, movies I've ever seen. Took me a couple hours to stop crying after it ended, but it was worth it. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

I'm disappointed in the ZERO stars simply because of the camera work. I loved the camera work. Lars is such a chancy director and it pays off. Like Dogville, DITD has that "No no no thats so wrong but so right" feel. His ending are beautiful. He hits human characteristics in such a unique way... the ones you often forget about. Bjork is obviously very talented and cute, but the movie was very stressful to watch, never knowing which bizarre musical/dancing or murder would pop up. Very depressing. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This is probably one of the most powerful movies I've ever seen. The movie takes a completely unexpected turn about half way through, where it goes from "Hello, I'm driving Miss Daisy, la-la-la" to "STOP THE CAR AND LET ME OUT NOW!!!", and it doesn't stop until the end.
