The acting is old fashioned and there's no mistaking who the bad guys are. Aerial footage is like nothing you've ever seen before. World War 1 pilots from both sides smirking, screaming, falling out of their planes to their death, getting shot while dog fighting and the cameras are just a few feet from their faces. You'll never forget this one. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More This is an excellent film produced by Howard Hughes. This is very close in plot to Howard Hawks' movie Dawn Patrol; which is a film WWI aviation action/adventure film. Early in production in 1929, Hell's Angels, was being made as a silent film but later in production it converted to sound. This is one of the few movies that is over 75 years old that has transferred well to the DVD technology. A must see. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
