I lover horror slasher movies and spoofs of horror. This one was set in the 50s and was a little goofy. It was entertaining enough. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

It was trying to be campy, and it was, but it didn't reach a satrical level (except possibly inasmuch as it filmed the surfing scenes in an obvious blue-screen way). I like Lauren Ambrose and I love Amy Adams (who was decent in her small and did dance really well), but this movie is not worth the dvd it was burned on. Watch Amy Adams in "June Bug." Watch Lauren Ambrose in "Six Feet Under." But don't watch this movie! Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This movie was very entertaining if you like tongue-in-cheek humor. Nicholas Brendon as Starcat was superb. If you are a big Xander fan from "Buffy...", you wil probably like Starcat as well. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Nothing short of somethign that you should attempt to watch while not on some mind altering substance (beer, whatever), will greatly enhanced the movie to the point of being watchable unless you are after a night of bad movies in which case this one comes to the top of that list.
