A great movie for both gay and straight viewers. Sensitively portrayed characters and tastefully done story lines. This is the kind of quality production that needs to be done more on gay/lesbian subject matter. Leave it up to HBO to pull together a class act. This would also be a great movie to share with straight but not narrow friends and family as it really does a great job showing the reality of what being gay/lesbian is all about. Plus, you get to see Ellen Degeneres and Sharon Stone share some steamy moments!

This is a movie that all who have open hearts and minds will appreciate. The three segments were wonderful, but the first really struck a chord for me. Vanessa Redgrave and Marion Seldes, as an elderly couple who have lived together for many years, will break your heart. In contrast, the last segment, with Ellen DeGeneres and Sharon Stone, is an occasion for rejoicing.
