Read MoreA timely film. A Mel Gibson classic. Gibson's acting was superb. Ledger and Isaacs are excellent in their roles. Illustrates how war cannot be avoided when murder, enslavement, and mayhem are brought to one's own doorstep. Also magnifies the sacrifices of people living ordinary lives. Many died for Our freedom. The modern day tale of the revolutionary war and the actors and how they protrayed it. In the movie after Mle Gibson had a dramatic sceene with another character and anounced he was going to kill him, his crazy eyes stuck out. I liked Braveheart better than this, because he was avenging for the death of his own family. In this movie in was avenging for the death of one son and later another. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
