Read More We ended up skipping to the end because we couldn't stand to watch another thirty minutes of plotless wandering. Normally we really like anything with John Cusack, but for whatever reason (we're both over 40 and really over a lot of the issues that are important to the characters) we just couldn't get into it. We spent half the movie wondering if anything was going to happen, and finally gave up.
Some good music, though. :) Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

Read More Maybe not the top 5 all time, but definitely a great flick. Cusack's monologue sets the pace for the whole film which is filled with interesting people, feelings and consistently funny! Would almost be a romantic comedy, but Jack Black steps in and totally dominates his scenes and brings exotic energy into his scenes that help keep everything diversified.
Funny, engaging and great work from Jack Black!
