I loved this movie. One of my all time favorites. Such a great love story, and it really makes you think a lot about growing up and playing ball all the way through school.

A great movie. Sanaa Lathan gives an amazing, emotional performance. Truly engaging look at two young people and how their talents shape their adult lives. Deals with ambition, family acceptance, gender bias, infidelity, and of course complications in romance. The soundtrack is a perfect companion and really defines the times. Alfre Woodard & Dennis Haysbert shine in their supporting roles.

A true love story with plenty of action on and off the court. I really liked the story and the acting. It was a bit predictable at times, but it had some twists involved. It's all about love- and I love basketball. I didn't know that it was a Spike Lee movie- it was easy to watch, and I still don't know if it was based on a true story. Very nice movie...........
