i liked this movie and thought christian bale did a great job but i dont understand it completely. i only watched it once through so i might have to watch it again. the thing i dont understand is did bateman really kill paul allen? because people saw allen in london and is bateman really his name? he was called by so many different names i wasnt sure who he really was or if he was screwing around with people or both. im gonna watch this another time and see if i understand it better. it was a good movie though and it makes u think and bale was fantastic!

Very good....a disturbing film. For people who want a blatant plot...no its not for you. You will not get it. The movie takes you through the mind of a....well business man gone psycho. Many scenes it is hard to tell if it 'really happened' or if it is a figment of his imagination. At the end you are in question of the reality of the whole movie in the characters perspective. There are two 'supposed' endings. If you want to google them, go for it. There is one I feel that is more believable then the other, the movie hints at the obvious one........it is a must see. I truly enjoyed Bale in this movie.

I guess since I was not an adult in the 80s, I cannot get how people are so obsessed with reservations and business cards the way the were in this movie. Most of it seemed over the top. I have always liked Christian Bale since I saw him in "Little Women." However, the only thing interesting about this movie was Wllem Dafoe. I think this movie could have been portrayed in a more realistic way. Some of the shallow parts may be right on, but some of the murder scenes were completely unbelievable and you're left wondering if any of it was even real.

Can't suggest this one. Don't like any of the actors (except Jared Leto from Fight Club). I'm confused about the end but I don't even realy care. Just not my kind of movie.
