Read More"What happened to the original consiglieri?" Read that in a few reviews. During the movie Michael says he is no longer with us. Maybe he died, maybe he quit. He didn't go into it but at least made reference to it (I'd rather see him but oh well). The movie wasn't bad and I'd recommend it to finish the trilogy and see how it plays out. Though talented behind the camera, she is painfully bad in front. The storyline is also not up to par with the previous two installments. Read More"The Godfather: Part III" sleeps with the fishes. Sofia Coppola's acting is so embarrassing, it completely devalues the film. Also, something that contributed to making Parts I and II great is sadly lacking in Part III: the close-up view of the guys who got their hands dirty. Who can forget Tessio, Fat Clemenza and Luca Brasi and their obscenely delicious sang-froid? Part III is full of pretty boys we hardly know, and when hits do occur, they're just not the gruesome eye candy we've come to enjoy, because we hardly recognize or care about deze guys who get whacked. Despite huge talent, most notably Al Pacino, Joe Mantegna and Eli Wallach, who steals the show (Andy Garcia merely holds his own), Sofia Coppola, almost singlehandedly, sinks Part III. Now that "The Godfather" is dead, please -- no more Godfathers! Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

What was Coppola thinking here ??? He had CLASSICS in Godfather I and II - - and then he gets greedy, and makes a FLOP that dilutes the first two a tad now...GEEEEEEEEZ ! This movie STUNK ! WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
