I have been watching all the godfather films for years. There is no question they are good movies, but the godfather always seems to be on the top of the list. I don't know why becuase there are many movies that are better. It's hard to watch the movie alot because it is so morbid. But, it is still a very good movie.

I finally saw the Godfather and wasn't sure if I was expecting too much for an old movie like this, but it is really a timeless film. From beginning to end the drama and intensity kept all the scenes exciting. For anyone who likes mafia films, this one has all the others by the throat. You'll remember lines repeated on tv shows that show how big an impression this story leaves on people. You'll feel what it's like for the family and how they're shaped by their involvement in their "businesses" even as they wish for something better. Their is a battle over letting drugs become part of the businees and a son taking over the business during a transition. Sometimes find yourself wondering if they could somehow enjoy a normal life...
